Ladles of love

Danny Diliberto CEO Ladles of Love (NGO)

In what capacity have you engaged with Dave?

I have worked with Dave as CEO and Founder of Ladles of Love.

How did you hear about Dave and what made you decide to work with him?

Our paths crossed by chance when his wife decided to volunteer for our organisation. To cut a long story short a meeting was arranged between the two of us. After a more than 2-hour meeting, we saw that Ladles needed to make some big organisational changes for the it to continue growing and we decided then that we would embark on this journey together.

What have been some of the positive outcomes from your work with Dave?

Dave has had a hands-on approach and has clearly guided me to make the massive changes we have in the last year together. Systems and regular meetings have been put in place to ensure that tasks are completed that has allowed us to make the exceptional change we have so far.

How has your work with Dave challenged and grown you as a leader?

Change requires courage as it requires one to step out of their comfort zone. As a leader making that choice, Dave has been there offering whatever guidance and support that is required to make this change. He can put things into perspective when all seems confusing, and all this support allows one to continue with the change. He also guides you to what changes need to be made which gives one the time to get ready for the ongoing change.

How would you recommend working with Dave to others?

One of my favourite quotes of Dave is “Light not heat.” And with any change things can get heated at times. Dave always ensures that there is always light and very little heat, and his deep understanding of the situation allows him to constantly remain calm, gentle yet affirmative.
